Yala Testnet Functionality
On the Yala testnet, you’ll be able to:
- Deposit and MetaMint $YU: Securely deposit BTC and mint $YU, our Bitcoin-backed stablecoin.
- Manage your position: Adjust your vaults by adding or withdrawing BTC and managing your $YU.
- Stake your $YU: Stake your $YU to earn $BERRIES, the native points token.

Earning $BERRIES
$BERRIES are the Yala testnet reward points you can earn by participating in various activities within the Yala platform. These points reflect your engagement and activity in the Yala ecosystem, with the more $BERRIES you collect, the higher you can rank on the Yala leaderboard. Earning $BERRIES improves your recognition and rewards across the Yala ecosystem, including Yala’s future airdrop rewards.
