Yala & Euler: Unlocking Ethereum Lending Yields with $YU

Euler is now live on the Yala DeFi Marketplace, expanding Yala’s footprint across Ethereum’s DeFi ecosystem.

With this integration, $YU holders can supply USDC or $YU on Ethereum to earn lending yields and access leverage through Euler’s capital-efficient infrastructure, while also earning boosted Berry rewards from Yala.

What Is Euler?

Euler is an innovative modular lending protocol on Ethereum that lets anyone create isolated and permissionless lending markets for almost any ERC-20 token.

It maximizes capital efficiency and minimizes risk with features like dynamic interest rates, MEV-resistant Dutch auctions, and isolated vaults that shield users from unrelated bad debt.

For users, Euler offers a secure and flexible platform to lend and borrow crypto assets without governance delays – all while enjoying enhanced safety and composability.

Euler unlocks lending yields through three core mechanisms:

  • Interest from borrowers
  • Liquidity mining and protocol rewards
  • Advanced strategies

In short: Euler turns idle crypto into productive assets with high capital efficiency and multiple earning options.

What Can You Do with Your $YU on Euler?

With Euler now integrated into Yala’s DeFi Marketplace, $YU holders can unlock boosted Berries through supply and leverage strategies. Here’s how each option works:

Note: Staking PT-YU itself does not earn Berries rewards

Head over to the DeFi Marketplace tab in the Yala mainnet and get started in seconds.

Supply USDC for lending

  • Go to the DeFi Marketplace tab in the Yala app and click "Go"
  • Select the USDC row, then click "Accept Terms of Use"
  • Enter the amount to supply and click "Supply"
  • Confirm the transaction in your wallet to start earning interest.

Supply $YU for lending

  • Select the YU row and click "Accept Terms of Use"
  • Enter the amount of $YU to supply, then click "Supply"

Use PT-YU as Collateral to Borrow

  • Navigate to the "Borrow" page within Euler and select the PT-YU market, and click "Accept Terms of Use"
  • Supply PT-YU as collateral, enter the amount of $YU to borrow, and click "Open Position"
  • Confirm the transaction in your wallet to proceed.

Note: You’ll need to purchase PT-YU on Pendle before using it as collateral. Not sure how? Here’s a guide.

Earn with Yala

The Yala DeFi Marketplace has launched its first Money Market integration with Euler, enabling users to lend assets like USDC, ETH, and $YU or borrow against them on Ethereum.

This builds on earlier integrations with Penpie, Equilibria, Raydium, and Kamino, which have already broadened Yala’s coverage across yield boosting and LP strategies.

Meanwhile, with $YALA live and Lite Mode yields underway, Yala is shaping up to be a go-to hub for flexible, high-yield DeFi opportunities.

Yala is a native Bitcoin liquidity protocol that channels BTC into yield opportunities across DeFi and RWAs.

Bitcoin holders unlock capital through self-custodial, liquidation-free borrowing by minting $YU, a BTC-backed liquidity asset. In this process, they pay a stability fee directly to $YU depositors, effectively exchanging BTC-backed exposure for portable, capital-efficient liquidity and access to yield without giving up ownership.

Yala’s SmartVault module manages system risk and ensures efficient yield distribution.
